Taste of Milano - Le Cene del Martedì in this year's last event celebrate the arrival of the holiday season in the welcoming and refined Acanto restaurant at the Hotel Principe di Savoia. In a unique setting made of natural light and Murano chandeliers, with an open kitchen, you will discover how serving and presenting dishes is an experience that involves all the senses.

 

Chef Alessandro Buffolino already boasts a long experience with exceptional masters and has a well-defined style in the very personal reinterpretation of the classics of Italian cuisine; for this occasion he has developed a menu out of the ordinary, where local and seasonal ingredients meet innovative techniques, for a perfect combination of tradition and modernity. Alessandro will tell the philosophy behind the menu proposed by personally introducing some dishes from the menu.

During the evening will be offered champagne pairings of the renowned French company Veuve Cliquot, of the highest level. In combination with dessert, Andrea Gasparri, Brand Ambassador Zacapa, will taste Zacapa XO Solera Gran Reserva Especial, a soft and round Guatemalan rum, aged at 2,300 meters above sea level.

 

The spirit of the evening will be in full festive style, with a sweet closing accompanied by the tasting of an excellent panettone….

The restaurant was designed and created by the Celeste Studio of Anna Design. The architecture of the veranda allows a view of the garden; daylight filters through an octagonal, transparent dome, while in the evening the atmosphere becomes magical thanks to a play of lights. The contemporary and refined style, with walls of a natural beige color and the use of two different types of wood.
To make the restaurant even more exclusive, a new show kitchen, created for the first time in Italy by Paul Valet who has produced the kitchens of the prestigious restaurants of Alain Ducasse all over the world.
Acanto offers guests and visitors a fresh and contemporary interpretation of Italian cuisine: our Chef Alessandro Buffolino creates menus inspired by classic Italian dishes, with a light touch and a presentation that satisfies the eyes like the palate.
